Achenseebahn & Achenseeschifffahrt
The impressive Achensee with its jade-green waters is Tyrol's largest lake. The lake is 9km long and 1km wide. In summer you can go on a boat-trip on the waters of the lake while in winter there is the possibility to ice-skate on the then frozen surface.
A locomotive whistling, hissing and steaming valves, pistons pounding: this is the Achensee train. A ride on this train is an unforgettable and romantic experience.
